  • Windshield
  • RS232 data interface
  • Calibration: internal

The analytical balance, a high-precision instrument, has a measuring range of up to 220 g and a resolution of 0.1 mg. This low resolution means even minor air turbulence can influence the weighing results. To counteract this, we equip the analytical balance with a draft shield, making it ideal for laboratory use. To perform a precise weighing using an analytical balance, the user opens the draft shield, places the sample on the platform, and then closes the shield.

The weighing plate of the touchscreen scales has a diameter of 80 mm, ensuring that aluminum samples or Petri dishes fit perfectly on the weighing pan. To maintain long-term accuracy, the laboratory analytical balance features an internal calibration function. Users can perform single-point calibration and multi-point calibration with external weights, as well as quick calibration with an internal calibration weight.

If the measurement surface is uneven, the built-in spirit level and adjustable feet allow the analytical balance to be set and aligned properly. The RS232 interface enables direct connection between the analytical balance and a PC, allowing measured data to be transferred and evaluated on the computer.

A standout feature of this analytical balance is the large LCD touchscreen. The weighing results are displayed prominently on the 5″ LC display in units of g, oz, ct, and mg. The flat touchscreen surface, devoid of mechanical buttons, simplifies cleaning, especially in laboratory settings.

Using this lab analytical balance, scientists and technicians can achieve highly accurate measurements. The analytical balance uses advanced technology to ensure precision and reliability. This balance for laboratory applications is essential for tasks requiring meticulous accuracy, such as those in chemistry labs. The analytical weighing balance includes diagrams and principles that highlight its functionality.
