Introducing the Data Logging Sound Level Meter: The Ideal Solution for Workplace, Construction Site, Traffic and Airport Sound Measurements. Our sound level meter is a top-quality instrument suitable for various applications. Its class 2 rating and octave band frequency filter make it a top-performing device. In addition, the meter can be upgraded to include a 1/3 octave band filter for even greater precision. Here are some key features:

  • Accuracy class 2
  • A, B, C & Z frequency weighting
  • Fast, Slow, Impulse and Peak time weighting
  • Statistics function
  • 1/1 octave band included
  • 1/3 octave band optional
  • Includes class II sound calibrator

Description

The sound level meter, which is suitable for measurements in workplaces, construction sites, traffic, airports, etc., serves as an optimal class 2 device equipped with an octave band frequency filter. Users can choose to upgrade the sound level meter with a 1/3 octave band filter. Alongside actively displaying numerical values, the sound level meter can graphically illustrate the course of the sound level. The sound level meter incorporates various frequency weightings, such as A, B, C, and Z, and can display measurements with time weightings like Fast, Slow, Impulse, and Peak.

The measuring range of the sound level meter extends from 25 to 136 dB(A) at a frequency of 20 Hz to 12.5 kHz. Users can actively store three different measurement profiles in the sound level meter. Enabling them to decide which parameters the device should record, such as Laeq, LcPeak, LaFmax, LaFMin, etc.

The peak hold function in the sound level meter allows for the recording of the maximum sound pressure level during long-term measurements, freezing it in the display. With a 24-bit AD converter and specially developed electronics. The sound level meter actively reduces inherent noise to a very low level. Sampling the measurement signal at more than 48 kHz ensures high accuracy and improved stability of the measurement value on the sound level meter.
