The Roughness Tester PCE-RT-11 is a portable instrument designed to measure surface roughness, providing readings for Ra, Rz, Rq, and Rt. This compact device is optimized for quick roughness measurements and is based on the principle of a piezoelectric microprobe, similar to highly accurate laboratory instruments. It measures surface unevenness, a key aspect of surface physics. The roughness tester is characterized by its ease of use and high repeatability. With a simple button press, the piezoelectric micro probe scans the surface in seconds and digitally displays the selected roughness value (Ra, Rz, Rq, or Rt) based on the chosen cut-off length.
