The Air Sampler PCE-AS1 is a portable 100 lpm aerosol hygiene monitoring device designed for analyzing airborne microbial, microbiological, bacterial, mold, fungi, and viruses. This air sampling device is ideal for use in hospitals, clean rooms, and food, beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical production facilities. The PCE-AS1 air sampler meets the latest standards for devices used in airborne microbial analysis and offers an optional ISO calibration lab certificate.
Using the aerosol impaction principle, also known as the Andersen collision principle, the PCE-AS1 air sampler assesses air quality. It draws air through 300 micropores at the top of the instrument, directing the laminar air flow onto an agar petri dish. After the sampling cycle, the petri dish is removed and incubated to assess bacterial and fungal counts according to USP 797 and CAG-009 guidelines.
Sterilize the collecting head in an autoclave at 121°C for 30 minutes, or with a cloth and 75% alcohol. Similarly, sterilize the petri dish with 75% alcohol before use. This microbial air sampler ensures precise and reliable air sampling for various applications.
