The Industrial Borescope PCE-VE 250 boasts a built-in cleaning function, making it perfect for tackling machine components. Users can clean it using compressed air alone or combined with water and detergents. The nozzle, positioned right by the camera head, allows for precise cleaning work. Additionally, the camera head has its own light, enabling users to pinpoint exactly where they need to clean.
With its roughly 90 cm (2 ft 11 in) long cable, this endoscope offers flexibility, allowing users to slide it into tight spots. Cleaning is activated with just a press of a trigger. Users can opt for water, detergent, or just plain old compressed air. A handy valve right before the trigger allows users to switch from liquid to air with a simple flip. Plus, any leftover fluid from previous use gets blown out, enabling users to clean without a mess.
When diagnosing with this digital endoscope, users can save their images and videos onto a micro SD card. It even comes with a liquid container for cleaning fluid, with the level always in sight. To power up the endoscope, users need a compressed air connection at 6 to 8 bars of pressure. Charging is facilitated through a USB interface on the device itself. And for users on the move, there’s a car charger adapter included for charging on the go, providing a solid four hours of continuous use on a single charge.
The digital endoscope is equipped with a camera tube that also houses a lighting and cleaning device. Users can control the lighting right from the main unit’s display, adjusting brightness or turning it off completely. While the endoscope cable is slim at 4.5 mm (0.18 in) in diameter and protected against water, dust, and oil with an IP67 rating, the camera head is slightly wider at 8.5 mm due to its dual functions.
