  • Suitable for classrooms, nurseries/kindergartens, lecture halls

The Air Quality Meter PCE-CMM 5 is a CO2 measuring device designed for desktop use. It measures the CO2 content in the air and displays the values on a large LC screen. Monitoring CO2 levels is crucial for assessing ventilation efficiency in offices, classrooms, lecture halls, and similar environments. This device helps ensure regular ventilation, promoting a healthy environment for employees and students.

If the CO2 concentration is below 1000 ppm, the indoor air quality is considered optimal, which supports better concentration and reduces aerosol concentration through continuous mixing with fresh air. The PCE-CMM 5 displays air quality both as a numerical value and through a traffic light indicator. Additionally, it can show the CO2 levels for the past five hours at the push of a button. The device also includes sensors for temperature and humidity.

Unlike industrial or scientific laboratory sensors, those used for monitoring indoor air quality prioritize long-term stability, low maintenance, and low energy consumption. The PCE-CMM 5 meets these requirements with its NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) sensor, providing precise and stable measurements up to an absolute range of 5000 ppm.
